An autopsy Saturday indicated Johnson died from multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide. Johnson, of the 300 block of Oglesby Avenue in Calumet City, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died later Friday night, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Another person in the vehicle was also hurt in the shooting. The person sitting next to Johnson in the back of the car pulled out a gun and shot him, Gilmore said. Friday in the 300 block of 157th Street and said he was robbing them, Gilmore said. He got in the back of their vehicle about 8:45 p.m. ![]() Johnson, 20, allegedly set up a drug deal with Hoare and Wilson, Calumet City Police Chief Edward Gilmore said.
